We have worked with John Lewis for the last three years, since the inception of The Gardening Society.

Providing full venue operations for their rooftop project on their flagship store in Central London, Oxford Street. Background Bars continue to provide John Lewis with full food and drinks management, production, design, cocktail consultancy and staffing. The project welcomes over 1000 people daily.

Night Tales is an award winning pop-up event combining experimental bar culture, food, dining experiences, live music and nightlife. 

Background Bars created, produced and managed all of the events – Night Tales, Summer Tales and Tokyo Nights over a 3-year period with more than 250,000 people who came through its doors.

We are now in the planning process for the next edition in summer 2018...

We have partnered with Facebook for a number of their internal events over the last three years. Each event comprising of over 2000+ people a day where Background Bars provided full drinks production, mobile bar hire, pre-event drinks tastings, drinks design and delivery.

Background Bars and Red bull teamed up for a two-day event over iconic London cocktail week.

Using Red Bull products (original, sugar free and tropical) as a base for 6 new cocktails, Background Bars provided full drinks consultancy, with multiple pre-event tasting sessions at our home, NT’s. In addition, we provided full mobile bar operations including back of house management, staffing, equipment and drinks management.
